Public notice – Rehabilitation work on the Campbell’s Bay potable water reservoir from May 19th to May 26th, 2026

The Municipality of Campbell’s Bay wishes to inform users of the municipal water system that rehabilitation work on the potable water reservoir will take place from May 19th to May 26th, 2026. These works require the bypassing and draining of the reservoir, which may result in:

• Pressure fluctuations;
• Temporary water discoloration.

Important Notice: A boil water advisory will be in effect for the entire duration of the work. Residents are advised to:

• Boil water for at least 1 minute before consumption (drinking, tooth brushing, ice making, washing fruits and vegetables, and preparing infant formula);
• Limit water consumption;
• Avoid lawn watering, pool filling, and any non-essential water use.

Residents, businesses, organizations, and institutions are encouraged to prepare a reasonable water reserve before the work begins in order to reduce demand during peak usage periods.

The Municipality will continue to provide updates throughout the work period. For any questions, unusual loss of pressure, or prolonged water discoloration, please contact the municipal office.
