The Union des producteurs agricoles (UPA) in the Pontiac is a non for profit organisation who is mandated with helping farmers in times of need. The president of the UPA Pontiac, Philippe Lamontagne, told CHIP that producers are experiencing a high period of stress and need the Government to step in and help:
