Preparing for the Death of a Loved One: An Information Session in Shawville

The Connexions Resource Center invites seniors and caregivers to attend an informational session on preparing for the death of a loved one.

The event will take place on Thursday, April 2nd, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at St. Paul’s Anglican Church.

Two guest speakers will be present for the occasion:

• Greg Hayes, who will discuss funeral trends and pre-arrangements
• Meagan Derouin, who will discuss the financial aspects of death, including estate planning, joint and individual accounts, and access to bank accounts after a death

This presentation aims to provide practical tools to better understand and prepare for the processes surrounding the end of life—a reality that is often difficult to address but essential to plan for. Please note that the session will be conducted in English.
