Power outages : more users without electricity in the Pontiac

The community radio of the Pontiac (CHIP 101.9) is monitoring the situation regarding power outages in the region due to freezing rain.

On Wednesday afternoon, at 3:30, the main municipalities affected were Mansfield-et-Pontefract, Île-du-Grand-Calumet and Isle-aux-Allumettes.

According to the information provided by Hydro-Québec, 3 762 of 12 978 adresses were affected in the Pontiac, notably 1 005 in Mansfield-et-Pontefract, 473 in Île-du-Grand-Calumet and 167 in Isle-aux-Allumettes.
