Power outages and storm: snowmobile season delayed

The winter storm, which occurred over the weekend, may have delayed the start of the snowmobile season which was set to begin soon, according the Club Montoneige Pingouin. The president of the association, Martin Hérault, explained that more than 500 kilometers of snowmobile network was damaged by the storm.

The Association is now looking for volunteers to help clean and clear the trails as quickly as possible. Though, as explained by Herault, the snowmobile season could be delayed longer than expected.

According to Martin Hérault, around a hundred volunteers will be needed to speed up the repair work. The full interview can be found here.
