Power outages across Pontiac following storm

The high winds and stormy weather yesterday knocked out the power for thousands of Pontiac residents, as well as numerous others in Western Quebec.

According to Hydro-Quebec’s website, there are currently nearly 4,000 Pontiac customers still without power as of 9 a.m. Wednesday morning (April 30), the majority of which are in Bristol. In the Outaouais, there are a little over 11,000 customers without power.
