Possible strike by CSSHBO teachers from midnight to 9:30 a.m. on April 14

Teachers at the Centre de service scolaire des Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais could go on strike for less than a day on April 14. The president of the Syndicat du personnel de l’enseignement des Hautes-Rivières, Daniel Boisjoli, said the strike would take place from midnight to 9:30 in the morning. On the other hand, the employers’ party is currently trying to obtain an injunction to prevent this morning strike.

“The employers are currently trying to get an injunction, judging that it could give them administrative and logistical complications. However, they have known the date since the end of March, which gives us a lot of time to organize, in our opinion, ”says Daniel Boisjoli.

Daniel Boisjoli criticized the Centre de service scolaire des Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais (CSSHBO) for not sending a clear signal to the Legault government. According to Daniel Boisjoli, the support of the CSSHBO would make it possible to make the government and the public more aware of the situation of teachers.

“We said that the School Service Centers should not interfere too much politically, but when we want to exert pressure, they do not hesitate to get involved politically”, adds Daniel Boisjoli.
