Pontiac Youth Council

The creation of a new Pontiac Youth Council was approved unanimously during the MRC meeting Monday, September 17 2018, which its’ objective is to bring the priorities of the youth to the MRC Council of Mayors and to provide their voice to the Council of Mayors on many issues.

18 people between the ages of 16-18 years old will be chosen to represent their municipality. An announcement will be sent to high schools, CEGEPs and municipal councils and the interested students should submit their names and resumes to their local municipal office. The deadline for selection of names should be Friday October 19, 2018.
