The Voix du PONTIAC-PONTIAC Voice group showed their support for the elected officials of la Vallée-de-la-Gatineau, Santé Outaouais and of other Outaouais stakeholders, for requesting the resignation of the current administrators of the CISSSO, in particular the current director, Jean Hébert.

According to the group, “Jean Hébert and his team blindly imposed the reform of the previous minister, which had major consequences in rural regions”.

Among the changes that have affected the Pontiac region, PONTIAC Voice mentioned:
-The centralization of decision-making posts towards the city
-The uprooting of residents, with various handicaps, from residence Thomson
-The dismantling of a hyper-efficient organization of social and health services that trusted its professionals and with no hierarchical hindrance
-Vaccine clinics, previously “walk-in” to clinics with appointments online or by phone
It is mentioned that it is “more than time that [these administrators] leave”, and that the PONTIAC Voice continue to support “vigorously the request for departure of the current director, Jean Hébert”.
