Pontiac swimming pool: a groundbreaking ceremony expected in 2020
According to the new chairman of the board of directors for the Pontiac Pool project, Todd Hoffman, the committee is hoping to begin construction next year:
During the Pontiac Pool Committee’s Annual General Meeting, which was held on Monday night in Fort-Coulonge at the Golden Age Club, Todd Hoffman explained that the goal for the next few months is to obtain the necessary funding to submit the construction plans to contractors. Among other things, the committee is hoping to demonstrate to the government that the project has the support of the community by offering Pontiac residents the opportunity to purchase membership cards for $10.
Note that Fifteen people attended the Pontiac Pool project’s AGM on Monday night. The committee will have seven new board members for the coming year, including Todd Hoffman (president), Claudette Stanton (vice-president), Jane Toller (secretary), Jenna Jeindel (treasurer), Kim Cartier-Villeneuve (administrator), Joan Dubeau (administrator) and Lise A. Romain (administrator).
