Pontiac Quad Club hosting “Big Wow” Poker Run this Saturday for Bouffe Pontiac

The Pontiac Quad Club is hosting its third “Big Wow” Poker Run this Saturday (March 25), starting at the Shawville arena. Club representative Diane Barrette explained that this event would be in support of local food bank Bouffe Pontiac.

“Yes, this is going to be our third edition, what we call the BIG WOW Poker Run, it all takes place on March 25,” she said (translated). “The cost is $50 per participant. The departure is from the Shawville arena and we will visit some Pontiac merchants. We will leave from Shawville, we will go towards Quyon, after Lac-des-Loups, Ladysmith, Campbell’s Bay, then we will return to the arena. At that time, there will be the prize distribution. So for the best poker hand there is $500, the second best hand $300 and the third best hand $200. Everything will be followed by a spaghetti dinner and several door prizes. And, don’t forget, you have to register first, the reason being the caterer, and so on. So, you must reserve by sending an email to info@clubquadpontiac.ca with the name of the participant or participants, a telephone number so that they can be reached, an email and a bank transfer. So everything has to be prepaid beforehand and then, security question, to the security answer, you can just put “poker” all in small lower case letters there, there shouldn’t be a problem.
