Pontiac Journal’s Readers’ Choice Awards fast approaching

It’s that time of year again, the Pontiac Journal’s Readers’ Choice Awards season.

The paper’s promotion highlights the best of the Pontiac region, determined by tallying votes from the public. Organizer Lynne Lavery explained that there were 33 categories this year, from the favourite burger or pizza joint to best community organization. This year’s featured category will be for “best community volunteer”.

Lavery explained that participants can either fill out their ballot, which will appear in an upcoming version of the newspaper, or vote  online.

The gala celebrating the winners will be held on September 18 at the Pontiac Conference Centre in Fort-Coulonge.
