Pontiac is invited to green its territory with the Tree and Forest Festival

19 May 2026 à 12:07 pm

The residents of the region are invited to participate in the Tree and Forest Festival, which will take place on May 29th, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Campbell’s Bay.

The event will be held outside the Pontiac MRC offices, located at 602 Route 301 North, and will feature a free tree distribution to encourage the greening of the area.

On site, participants can also enjoy a friendly BBQ in a warm, family-friendly atmosphere.

The initiative will also extend to several municipalities across Pontiac, where trees will be available, including Alleyn-et-Cawood, Bristol, Chichester, Clarendon, Fort-Coulonge, and L’Isle-aux-Allumettes.

The goal of the day is to raise awareness about the importance of tree planting and environmental protection, while taking a concrete action to improve the quality of life and forest cover in the region.

A simple, free, and accessible activity for everyone, it offers an opportunity to directly contribute to greening Pontiac.
