Pontiac Community Radio Station CHIP 101.9 Targeted by Vandalism

Pontiac’s community radio station, CHIP 101.9, was the target of vandalism on Halloween night, October 31.

Individuals took advantage of the evening to spray graffiti and write insulting messages on the station’s main sign, located at 138 Principale Street in Fort-Coulonge.

The station’s volunteer board of directors is condemning the act, describing it as an attack on democracy and on a community-based news organization.

A formal complaint will be filed with the authorities.
