Pontiac community organizations to picket for funding increases this week
Several Pontiac community organizations will participate in two demonstrations over the next few hours: a march that will take place in downtown Gatineau today (Monday, February 21) and a picket action will take place on Hwy. 148, near the MRC offices in Campbell’s Bay, February 22 from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The Director General of the Jardins éducatifs du Pontiac, Martin Riopelle, explained that Pontiac organizations are calling for an increase in their funding, in order to be able to continue to offer services to the population.
