Pontiac citizens invited to participate in an evening on forest planning in public forests
The contribution of citizens in forestry planning in public forests is requested on Monday. In fact, the Table régionale de gestion intégrée des ressources et du territoire public de l’Outaouais (TRGIRTO) is inviting citizens interested in forestry management of public forests to participate in an information session on Monday, February 18th from 7 pm to 9:30 pm. The evening is intended to provide a better understanding of the forest management planning process for public forests in the Outaouais. Professionals will be on hand to help citizens know how they can contribute and influence the areas of intervention where wood harvesting and other management activities are planned to take place, such as non-timber silvicultural work, commercial and roadways. The meeting will be held at the Community Hall at 2 Second Street in Campbell’s Bay.
