Pontiac Chamber of Commerce holding 5 à 7 next Thursday

The Pontiac Chamber of Commerce is inviting local businesspeople to a 5 à 7 on Thursday October 19 at the Little Red Wagon Winery in Clarendon. Chamber President Sébastien Bonnerot, explained the gathering was organized as part of Canadian Small Business Week. The events featured speaker is from the Canadian Federation of Independent Business.

“We are fortunate to welcome the Canadian Federation of Independent Business,” he said (translated). “It’s super interesting, it’s the first time we’re going to have them here in person and the subject of the presentation will simply be let’s talk business. It will be a great opportunity for them to present to us regional data on small and medium-sized businesses, they will tell us about the labor shortage, a little taxation, a little immigration and a little automation. This means that these are all interesting current topics and what’s more, the presentation will be bilingual.”

Bonnerot added that the event will be free of charge and open to everyone, regardless of if they’re a current chamber member.
