Pontiac celebrates Canada!

Canada Day in the Pontiac will go this year in style. Several communities are organizing celebrations, such as Shawville and Mansfield but also Sheenborro and Otter Lake just to name a few. Despite its small population, Sheenborro continues year after year to attract a large number of visitors with several activities. Sunday will begin with a lumberjack’s breakfast at 9:30 am in the parish hall and activities will continue at the municipal park.

In Otter Lake, people are invited to gather at noon at 394 Tessier Street. There will be a parade as well as fireworks in the evening.
