Pierre Fréchette’s application for Warden sparks several reactions

At the announcement of the candidacy of the former mayor of Grand-Calumet island Pierre Fréchette for Warden elected by universal suffrage, many shared their reactions via social media.

Among other things, the Facebook page Engaged Pontiac stated that this announcement makes the race much more interesting. Other residents have said they are challenging his commitment following his resignation as mayor last spring.

The election will take place on November 5th.
