Over $41,000 in financial assistance for our region

More than $ 2 million is being handed out to 73 municipal organizations by the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Land Occupancy, Minister of Public Safety and Minister responsible for the Montreal region, Martin Coiteux. He announced that $ 2,060,919 has been budgeted for 2017-2018 for the completion of 73 projects within the framework of the financial assistance for equipment, infrastructures, services or activities for municipalities.

Initially $ 1 million was allocated for 2017-2018. Given the high number of applications and the very favorable response from the municipalities, the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Land Occupancy has doubled this financial contributions.

A new call for projects for 2018-2019 will be announced this spring.
The municipality of Pontiac will receive $ 20,000 for Services and infrastructure in municipal sports and recreation.
The municipality of L’Isle-aux-Allumettes will receive $ 21,620 for Recycling Management
