Outaouais population invited to participate in Forestry public consultation
Outaouais residents have until February 15, 2022, to participate in a public consultation outlining potential new intervention sectors, as well as new roads and infrastructures across the Outaouais that would be suitable for development under the plans d’aménagement forestier intégré opérationnels (PAFIO) de l’Outaouais.
Commercial forestry work could be carried out as early at April 2022 near and around the following municipalities and territories (the MRC Pontiac municipalities are in bold and the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais municipalities are in italic).

Those interested can consult the various documents and submit their comments online until February 15, 2022 at 11:59 p.m., using the georeferenced form integrated into the interactive map.
The Ministère will hold a virtual information session (Wednesday, February 2, from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. — Register at www.trgirto.ca before February 1 at noon) where it will be specified how to submit comments and concerns online, as well as where to identify potential sectors of intervention (SIP) presented in public consultation. A question period will end the activity. Interested persons must complete the participation form at www.trgirto.ca. An Internet link and instructions will then be sent to them by email.
