Outaouais: Call for applications for the CALQ Prize – Artist of the Year
The Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ), in collaboration with Culture Outaouais, is inviting regional artists to submit their applications for the CALQ Prize – Artist of the Year (Outaouais). Applications must be submitted no later than June 9th, 2026.
This prize, which includes a $15,000 grant, aims to recognize an artist, writer, or performer who stands out through the excellence of their recent work and the dynamism of their professional career.
Eligible applicants must have more than three years of professional artistic practice. Full details and the application form are available on the CALQ website. Artists may also receive support in preparing their application by contacting Culture Outaouais.
The recipient will be announced during the 2026 Culturiades ceremony.
Through this award, CALQ seeks to recognize the essential contribution of creators to the visibility and vitality of Quebec culture, while supporting artistic creation and dissemination across all regions.
