Outaouais Book Fair Returns to Gatineau for Its 47th Edition

From February 19 to 22, 2026, the Outaouais Book Fair will return to the Gatineau Convention Centre for its 47th edition. This year, visitors are invited to touch the books, leaf through their pages, and fully embrace the world of words.

The honorary president is Dany Laferrière, and more than 400 authors will be in attendance, including special guests such as Didier Leclair, Alexandre Fontaine Rousseau, Jean-Philippe Baril Guérard, Michel Jean, and many others.

Lisanne Rheault-Leblanc, co-executive director and artistic director:

The Book Fair will host thousands of preschool, elementary, and high school students on Thursday and Friday. Families are invited to attend over the weekend, as well as on Friday during our special educational day. The event will feature over 50 youth-focused activities, including storytelling for little ones, live illustrations, interactive workshops, and discussions on a variety of topics.

From February 19 to 22, 2026, the Outaouais Book Fair encourages the public to join in large numbers!
