A local Chef originally from the municipality of Bryson, Yannick La Salle, along with his team of Chefs from Les Fougères restaurant in Chelsea, won first place at the 2019 Canadian Culinary Championships. This prestigious culinary award, which aims to raise funds for the Canadian Olympic Foundation, took place last weekend in the city of Kelowna, British Columbia. In an interview with CHIP 101.9, Yannick La Salle told us how they unexpectedly won the competition:

In a few weeks, the Pontiac will have the chance to see La Salle again during a friendly competition at the Défi des Chefs Leucan (Leukemia) Outaouais, with the CHIP 101.9 host, Marie Gionet.
