Otter Lake by-election scheduled for January

The by-election for mayor of Otter Lake is scheduled to take place in January, after former Mayor Terry Lafleur accepted the position of assistant Director General of MRC Pontiac back in September.

Municipal Director General Andrea Lafleur told CHIP 101.9 that the by-election will be held on Sunday January 19, 2025, with the advance poll taking place a week before on January 12.

She said that candidates will be able to submit their paperwork between December 6 and 20, adding that the exact times would be announced in the coming weeks.
