The Ottawa River Regulation Committee anticipates a gradual increase of the water levels of the Ottawa River in the upcoming days mainly due to precipitation in the southern portion of the river, which would increase the flow along the length of the river. According to information published today, levels will reach its seasonal average depending on locations and amounts of rainfall.

It should be noted that most reservoirs remain empty in preparation for spring. The Ottawa River Regulation Committee plans to update the population on their website daily, which also includes a 4-day forecasts for six locations on the river, including Pembroke and Fort-Coulonge.
