Nuit Blanche Ottawa: a night of art to celebrate the capital’s 200th anniversary
Ottawa is getting ready for an extraordinary night!
As part of Ottawa’s 200th anniversary celebrations, Nuit Blanche Ottawa returns on Saturday, September 26th, for a full night dedicated to art, light, technology, and culture.
From 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., the ByWard Market and more than 18 locations across the capital will be transformed into vibrant artistic playgrounds.
On the program: light installations, projections, performances, and interactive experiences. Highlights include PRISMATICA, a maze of 25 rotating prisms; IMPULSE, a multisensory installation that reacts to light and sound; and MONUMENTS, by artist Craig Walsh, which will project giant portraits onto living trees.
Best of all: all official activities are free and open to the public.
