No strike before the holiday break
In an interview with CHIP 101.9, the president of the Hautes-Rivières Teaching Staff Union (SPEHR), Daniel Boisjoli, gave more details on the vote of their members who spoke in favor of the strike in 95%. Daniel Boisjolis indicated that the mandate, including three days of strike, would not take place before the holidays, but could take place following this leave.
Daniel Boisjolis once again asserted that the government is intransigent.
Note that Daniel Boisjolis came back to the fact that teachers in Quebec have the worst remuneration in Canada. He also addressed the recruitment difficulties which have negative impacts on their members.
