No Pontiac Journal until Thursday

Due to the power outages in the region of Mirabel QC, where there Journal’s print shop, Imprimerie Mirabel (Quebecor) is located, this week’s edition of the Pontiac Journal has been delayed until Thursday.

The power outages in Mirabel were cause by an accumulation freezing rain that had and severe affect on the power system resulted in numerous outages in the area. Yesterday, at the height of the outage, more than 313,000 customers had lost power. As a result, Quebecor sent this week’s edition of the Pontiac Journal to Quebec city for printing. Distribution in the Pontiac should take place on Thursday.
