No injuries in the Campbell’s Bay Fire on Patterson st. Wednesday morning
No injuries occurred in the Patterson street fire on Wednesday morning in the municipality of Campbell’s Bay. According to the municipality, at approximately 12:30am Wednesday morning, the Campbell’s Bay/Litchfield fire department was deployed to the housing unit 5, 7 and 9 on Patterson Street. According to authorities, the rental unit suffered a total loss.
Early investigations by the Sûreté du Québec have indicated that the fire was not a criminal act, though the cause of the fire has yet to be determined by the investigation. A fund for the family living in the one of the units has been set up on social media, more details on this will be available soon.
Note that a water boil advisory has been issued for the municipality Campbell’s Bay and the area of the municipality of Litchfield served by the Campbell’s Bay Water system.
