MNA for Pontiac André Fortin during the announcement of the investment in Litchfield roads spoke of his plans for the October 1 elections, including meetings with the citizens of the riding by going door-to-door. The Coalition Avenir Québec and the Parti Québécois have not yet publicly revile their candidates for the Pontiac riding.

Building the site that will be home to the Pontiac slaughterhouse is moving forward. According to one of the company’s owners, everything is going according to plan and future employees have already obtained the necessary training.
