New shelter for the Municipality of Fort-Coulonge
The Municipality of Fort-Coulonge has started construction on a shelter near town hall, which will be used to store equipment. Mayor Christine Francoeur provided more details in an interview on CHIP 101.9’s morning show “Bonjour Pontiac”.
“It is already under construction,” she said (translated). “So what are we doing is, we’re building, it’s not really a garage because we don’t have a door. We call it a three-sided shelter … that’s going to be so that our equipment can come in and be plugged in all winter. That way, we will have less difficulty with our equipment. We will be able to keep them longer and that’s it, it’s going to be better for everyone.
