New positive COVID case at pavillon Pourpore

Le Centre de services scolaire des Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais (CSSHBO) confirmed that a new positive COVID case had been discovered at l’École des Petits-Ponts at pavillon Pourpore.

“According to the instructions issued by the Government of Quebec, your child can continue to attend school according to their regular schedule, unless Public Health advises otherwise. Rest assured that the CSSHBO protocol is still rigorously applied. The health and safety of students and staff is a priority, which is why we attach great importance to compliance with health guidelines,” the CSSBO wrote in a letter to parents and guardians of students (translated).

Parents and guardians are invited to contact the school administration for questions on the current situation at 819-683-2091 extension 12321.

“Please note that for reasons of confidentiality, we cannot disclose the name of a person infected or withdrawn from school. You can also contact Public Health at 1-877-644-4545 or consult the Government of Quebec’s symptom self-assessment tool if you have concerns related to your health or that of your child,” the statement adds (translated).
