New measure for winter fishing: regulation

Beginning December 1, residents of Quebec will be able to go ice fishing without a license in specific areas. The MRC Pontiac, including zones 10, 12 and 25 in the territory will benefit from this new regulation, announced last Monday by the Ministry of Forests, Wildlife and Parks of Quebec. Head of Department in Campbell’s Bay and Maniwaki, Lieutenant Marc Patry speaks about some the basic rules and regulations for ice fishing.

Remember that the Ministry of Forests, Wildlife and Parks has implemented this new rules to promote ice fishing, support the industry and encourage the development of the next generation of ice fishers.
