New Mansfield halte loses section to erosion

This past spring, some erosion along river bank at the new halte by the Félix-Gabriel-Marchand Bridge in Mansfield-et-Pontefract gave the municipality a scare. A block of ice cut into part of the site’s terrain, damaging the trail that had been installed at the tourist stop. However, the municipality’s public works employees responded quickly, as Mansfield Mayor Sandra Armstrong explained during her studio appearance on CHIP 101.9.

However, new fencing installed by Municipality employees now ensure the site’s security.
