New awareness campaigns by Impératif français
Impératif français is launching four extensive public interest campaigns and is seeking proactive and “on-the-ground” participation from everyone in the citizen and societal movement, the “Impératif français” movement.
First of all, the campaign “Young and Proud Quebecers! ‘I Love My Language'” which offers a series of animated cartoons for social media: it consists of a series of 8 video clips aimed at highlighting Quebec’s cultural richness. The video clips will be broadcast on social media and the Impératif français website. The president and CEO of Impératif français provides some details
Following the release of Volume 1 of his collection Words and Expressions in Quebec French published at the beginning of the year, the organization announces the publication of a second volume. Find more than 150 Quebec expressions per volume; unique phrases, such as “habillé comme la chienne à Jacques” and “accrocher ses patins,” convey a linguistic creativity that adds charm to our French. The book is available for free by contacting the organization.
Moreover, as every year, Impératif français launches on the airwaves of participating radio and television stations and social media its extensive promotional campaign “Vote with Your Dollar – Santa Needs You!” to the public in order to encourage the use of French during our holiday shopping, whether for customers or store employees.
And finally, their recruitment and fundraising campaign; French imperative, it’s you, me! The crux of the matter! while the organization will hold its Annual General Meeting at the end of the month. Let us recall that while Mr. Perreaut will remain in office for some time, he has announced that he will not renew his term as president at the next AGM of Impératif Francais, which will take place on November 28, and he will subsequently leave the positions of general manager of the two companies within the following six months. In an interview, he took the opportunity to invite the people of Pontiac to get involved in the organization.
