New audit report from the Commission municipale du Québec on snow removal management performance

The Quebec Municipal Comission (CMQ) published a new audit report this week, this time on snow removal management performance. This audit work was carried out in three municipalities, including Cantley, which is located in the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais.

The objective of the work was to determine whether these three municipalities plan and carry out snow removal activities on public roads in an efficient and sustainable manner in order to provide the agreed levels of service with respect to the mobility and safety of citizens. CMQ spokesperson Isabelle Rivoal indicated the objectives of this new audit report, which can be used by all municipalities seeking to improve their management process related to snow removal.
