Narcotics and search in Bristol
The MRC Pontiac’s Sûreté du Québec arrested two individuals and did a drug search in Bristol on November 22nd.
A 46-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman were arrested and released on a promise to appear at a later date in Campbell’s Bay. They could face charges of drug possession with intended trafficking as well as possession of firearms. During the search of the Bristol residence (8th line), the police seized more than 10 kilos of cannabis (buds), over 60 kilos of cannabis (plants) and equipment used for the production of cannabis. It should be noted that this search was initiated as a result of information received from the public.
