Municipality of Pontiac: breaking and entering, suspects arrested and objects found
Three people (two men and one woman) were arrested on January 22nd in connection with four breaking and entering that took place on the night of January 14th in the municipality of Pontiac.
A search of a Hull (Gatineau) residence was carried out following an investigation, which allowed police to find several of the stolen items. According to information from the service de Sécurité Publique de la MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais, the investigation showed that the suspects were targeting residences where no one was present. The procedures were carried out in collaboration with the Service de Police de la Ville de Gatineau.
According to the details in the press release, in one of the break-ins, one of the suspects inadvertently dropped his cell phone to the ground which police said: “obviously, greatly helped the investigation.”
