MRC Pontiac signs with Campbell’s Bay Cement for waste management in the region

Campbell’s Bay Cement will now be responsible for waste management on the MRC Pontiac territory. The contract for the receiving, transporting and disposing of garbage in the area was signed at the Pontiac MRC Council of Mayors’ special meeting, held on Monday in Campbell’s Bay. The Director General of the MRC, Bernard Roy.

Services with the new contractor will begin on Monday, August 19th, 2019 at a cost of $ 258.48 per ton. The contract is for a period of three years, with an option to renew for an additional two years. It should be noted that Campbell’s Bay Cement will take the place of Tom Orr Cartage Construction, which was picking and disposing of waste in the MRC Pontiac until this year.
