MRC Pontiac presents a tourism brief to Ministry of Tourism’s
The MRC Pontiac has issued a brief to the Quebec Ministry of Tourism, in which it presents a reflection of the economic growth strategy for the tourism industry in the Pontiac for 2020-2025. The strategic communications advisor at the MRC, Jérémi Vaillancourt, who coordinated the brief, explained the objectives in presenting it to the ministry.
This 10 pages document is divided into four main projects/issues concerning the tourism industry in the Pontiac, issues regarding the start point of the “Les Chemins d’eau” tourist route and tourism billboards for businesses. Once again, Jérémi Vaillancourt, explains.
Two national park projects are also in the submission, including the National Park Project for the Iles Lafontaine in the municipality of Île-du-Grand-Calumet, which attracted a lot of interest back in August and is currently moving forward.
More details on the status of the National Park Project for l’Île-du-Grand-Calumet will be available soon.
