MRC Pontiac launches online hub for local rentals

MRC Pontiac recently launched a new online rental hub designed to centralize apartment and housing listings throughout the region.

According to Rachel Soar Flandé, the MRC’s economic development officer for housing, this tool aims to compile the region’s rental offerings, providing better visibility for landlords and a simplified search for tenants.

Soar Flandé urged local landlords to upload their available properties on the site. She said that currently many postings are scattered throughout various social media pages and platforms.

Recall that a recent survey of housing in the Pontiac found that more than half of tenants in the region had signed no formal lease agreement.
