MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais citizens will elect a Warden

As MRC Pontiac did in 2017, the citizens of the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais will soon have to appoint a Warden by universal suffrage during the 2021 municipal elections.

The current Warden of the MRC des Collines and Mayor of Chelsea, Caryl Green, explained why the mayors decided to make this change.

The MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais is composed of seven municipalities including the municipality of Pontiac which resides over the towns of Quyon, Luskville and Breckenridge. It is considered one of the fasting growing MRC’s in Quebec in term of demographic strength and economic growth.
