More than $8M for the renovation of CSHBO schools
The Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais School Board (CSHBO) will receive $ 8,116,517 from the Quebec government for the renovation of its schools.
“It is well known that many schools require a great deal of care,” said the ministre de la Famille et ministre responsable de la région de l’Outaouais, Mathieu Lacombe, in a press release. ”With these major investments, your government is responding to this need. These renovations will make our school buildings more enjoyable and safer. I am very happy for the students, teachers and staff of schools in the Outaouais region.”

The Western Quebec School Board will receive an amount of $ 18,691,628.
The ministère de l’Éducation et de l’Enseignement plans to invest nearly $ 100 million in the renovation schools in the Outaouais, an increase of 302.3% over last year.
This announcement provides for minimum amounts, for the 2020-2021 to 2021-2022 school years, in order to improve the planning of some buildings maintenance work. School renovation projects for the CSHBO will be unveiled next week.
