Pontiac MP Will Amos was in the Pontiac on Tuesday to announce $ 8,450 in funding from the Accessibility Fund (APF) for the building of outdoor ramps to facilitate visitor with limited mobility during outdoor activities at Patro de Fort-Coulonge / Mansfield.

The director of the Patro de Fort-Coulonge / Mansfield., Marc Frappier says that the ramp will help many young people with limited mobility.

According to Suzanne Dazé, from the Patro, accessibility to lakes and rivers poses a problem in the preparation of the premises, when the Patro organizes outdoor activities for people with reduced mobility.

William Amos added that this is a good opportunity for Patro to become known in the region through such an initiative.

Construction of the outdoor ramps, which will cost approximately $ 15,000, is expected to be completed by the beginning of summer 2019.
