Midget Comets win on the road, advance to finals

The Comets Midget team (U 18) had a big win last night (February 28) in Eganville, taking down the home team 4 to 1, to end their series of 4 games in 4 nights. During the round robin format for the playoffs, the Midget Comets finished with a record of 4 wins and 2 ties, enough for them to finish in first place and head directly to the final, which will be played in mid-March. Defender Javier Morin scored two goals, with Hugo Boisvert and Venka Bonnerot contributing one each. Goalkeeper Jean-Michel Landry once again put in a solid showing between the pipes.
