Michaela Cahill continues her journey on La Voix

A Fort-Coulonge resident and participant in La Voix, Michaela Cahill, will continue her journey on Marc Dupré’s team.

The local singer delivered a solid performance Sunday evening by performing “Le monde est stone” by Starmania, during a duel performance with her adversary, Elyzabeth Diaga.

“There was a will on Michaela’s side, to take this song elsewhere and to make its own version,” said her coach Marc Dupré. Michaela will be back for Battle songs during the next step on the show.

TVA has however announced that La Voix will take a temporary break due to COVID-19. “Faced with the exceptional situation we live in, and in accordance with government directives, TVA and Productions Déferlantes will resume production and broadcast when the pandemic we are going through is behind us and that everyone’s security is assured,” the network said.
