McGrimmon Cartage is looking for a transfer station attendant in Shawville

McGrimmon Cartage is currently seeking a transfer station attendant to fill a full-time position in Shawville. Interested candidates have until May 19th, 2026, to submit their applications.

The position offers flexible hours between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., with availability required on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. The successful candidate will participate in the site’s daily operations, including operating heavy equipment, general maintenance, managing weighing procedures, and certain administrative tasks.

Responsibilities include operating an excavator and a loader, compacting waste containers, greeting customers, and entering data into computer systems. The employer is seeking a reliable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious individual with experience operating heavy machinery. Bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset.
