Martial Mallette sworn in as new Director of the Public Security for MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais
The Warden of the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais, Marc Carrière, swore in Martial Mallette as the MRC’s new director of public security Thursday (May 26). The ceremony was held at the Centre Communautaire Multifonctionnel de la municipalité de Cantley.
During the ceremony, Yves Charette, who is currently retiring, ceremoniously transferred his authority to Mallette after five years of being at the head of the Department, making Mr. Mallette the firth director of the MRC’s Public Security Service since being founded in 1996.
Mallette has more than 25 years of experience serving the city Montreal as a commander for several neighborhood stations, as an operational planning inspector and as an inspector for Northeast Gendarmerie.
“With this experience, we are convinced that Mr. Mallette will be able to represent the values of the Public Security Service, namely dedication, courage, integrity and professionalism,” the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais authorities wrote in a release.
“It is a great pleasure for me to welcome Mr. Mallette to our team. With his experience and his values, I am sure that the citizens of our MRC will be well served,” said the Warden of the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais, Marc Carrière.
“It is an honor for me to serve the citizens of the MRC. I want to lead a transparent and honest organization that offers humane and respectful service to all citizens,” said the new director of the Public Security Department of the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais, Martial Mallette.
