Marie-Claire Nivolon will be the PQ’s candidate in Pontiac

The Parti Québécois has confirmed the candidacy of Marie-Claire Nivolon for the October 1 election in the riding of Pontiac. Mme. Nivolon has a baccalauréat in philosophy obtained in Nantes, France. She has long been involved with the Parti Quebecois since she was secretary of communications from 1990 until today. Previously, she was assigned to issuing PQ membership card between 1984 and 1990. She was also involved in various constituencies of the party in the Montreal area (Crémazie, Viau) during the 1980s.
